3.3 Marketing / Advertising Cookies (Consent Required)
These cookies are used to serve personalised advertisements and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns via Google Ads. They are only set after you accept marketing cookies via the cookie banner.

When you accept marketing cookies, Google Consent Mode signals ad_storage: granted, ad_user_data: granted, and ad_personalization: granted are sent. When you reject or have not yet chosen, all three are denied.
4. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2 via the script js/consent-mode.js, loaded as the first script in the <head> of every page. Default consent state on first visit is:

These signals are updated immediately when you interact with the consent banner - no page reload required.
5. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences
You can manage your preferences in the following ways:
- Cookie banner - click "Manage" in the cookie banner (shown on first visit and accessible if your consent record has expired) to open the preferences panel and select which categories to accept.
- Browser settings - most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies via their privacy settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working correctly.
- Google opt-out - you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For Google Ads personalisation, visit Google Ad Settings.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
6. Third-Party Cookies
We do not use third-party social media cookies. If we add social sharing functionality in future, this policy will be updated accordingly. Our site does not embed third-party video players or social widgets that set their own cookies by default.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
